Profile:
Taylor earned his B.S. in biochemistry at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Prior to starting his PhD, he worked in the laboratory of Elias Fernandez, where he studied the mechanism of steroid hormone receptor activity using crystallography and molecular dynamics. Taylor joined the Voorhees lab in 2020, where he is studying mitochondrial membrane protein biogenesis.
