Postdoctoral Scholar Fellowsip Trainee in Biology and Biological Engineering
Profile:
Jordan received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from CSU Long Beach, where he studied cell survival and migration in Deepali Bhandari's lab. He then obtained his PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology from UC Berkeley, where he trained with Randy Schekman. In the Schekman lab, Jordan investigated the molecular mechanisms underlying extracellular vesicle biogenesis and plasma membrane repair. In July 2026, he joined the Voorhees lab as a Jane Coffin Childs (JCC) Fellow. He is interested in membrane protein and organelle biogenesis.
