Esther received her B.S. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from UC Berkeley where she worked under Professor Markita Landry to develop nano sensors to detect different neurotransmitters in acute mouse brain slices. Esther joined Voorhees Lab in 2025 where she will preform CRISPR screens to identify biological pathways. In her free time she enjoys making coffee, going to the gym, and photography.
